Nutrient Knockout beneficial bacteria for koi ponds breaks down suspended organic debris in water from fish waste, suspended muck, etc. Nutrient Knockout also removes nutrients from water like nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia. By cleaning water of debris and nutrients, the result is improved water clarity.

When is the best time to use Nutrient Knockout?

Use throughout the season whenever water is between 40-70 degrees. For water temperatures above 70 degrees use SummerClear.

Treatment can be safely used with SludgeX and PhosDrop. Nutrient Knockout pond clarifier safe for fish, wildlife, pets and birds.

Do not use in combination with algaecide or flocculant. Chemical treatments impact Nutrient Knockout's effectiveness. If chemical treatments are used, wait 72 hours before applying. For ponds with UV clarifiers, turn off UV for 72 hours after a  treatment to avoid impact to good bacteria.
