The EC3900U Eco-Clear Pressurized Filter with 24 watt UV is good for ponds up to 3900 gallons or 1950 gallons with fish. Fish load, feeding rates, amount of sunlight and other factors affect actual maximum gallons that can be filtered.

Key features include sturdy filter housings that can be buried up to the cleaning ring for easy concealment. The dual filtration system uses filter pads to collect solid debris while bio-media provides excellent biological filtration. A cleaning indicator shows when the filter needs cleaning. Optional built-in UV clarifies water by destroying algae cells. A backwash valve extends time between full cleanouts. Filters disassemble and clean easily for convenient maintenance. Multi-step connectors accept a variety of tubing sizes, and 1 1/2'' adaptor fittings accommodate PVC connections.

The filtration process works as follows: dirty pond water enters the pressurized filter where it is pushed through multiple densities of foam filters to remove solid debris. Water then passes through bio-media for biological filtration. Select units feature high-intensity UV lights that destroy algae cells, eliminating green water. Cleaned water returns to your pond.
