BRK15 Retrofit Blower add on kit for 1.5" Bead Filters

Retrofit air blower add-on kit for EasyPro PBF pressurized bead filters, sized for the 1.5" plumbed models. The blower tees into the line between the pump outlet and the filter head, and is run only during backwash.

How it fits your pond

Pressurized bead filters clean by trapping solids in a packed bed of plastic beads. Over a season that bed compacts, and a plain water backwash struggles to break it apart — so the filter never fully recovers its capacity. An air blower fluidises the bed first, scrubbing the beads against each other so the backwash actually carries the waste out. The result is a filter that returns to full capacity, using less water and less time at each cleaning.

Important: the blower is used during backwash only, never while the pump is running in filtration mode.
