The SPVS270 is an EasyPro swim-rated variable-speed pump rated to 268 gpm. The motor runs across a range of speeds from a digital keypad, so flow can be tuned to the feature rather than running flat out around the clock.

How it fits your pond

A variable-speed pump lets you run high flow when you want the feature working hard and throttle back the rest of the time, which is where most of the energy saving on a large water feature comes from. These are external, self-priming pumps — they mount dry beside the pond rather than sitting in it, and they are hard-wired rather than cord-and-plug, so plan the electrical and the plumbing runs before installation.

This is an external, dry-mount pump. It installs beside the pond, not in it.
